Job Description – NICU Nurse (Band 5 & 6):-
• Provide specialist care to premature and critically ill newborns
• Support NICU teams at Newham and Whipps Cross hospitals
• Work flexible day and night shifts, 7 days a week
• Monitor infants’ vital signs and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and manage neonatal equipment
• Work closely with doctors and other healthcare staff
• Communicate clearly with parents and families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation
• Ensure safe, high-quality care in line with hospital standards
